In the plan, the main multi-purpose space is located at the front of the building, opening widely to the town and creating a space that feels like an extension of the street, like a dirt-floored passageway. In addition, the cross-shaped hall allows for multiple divisions and simultaneous integration with the north and south plazas. The building's entrance is located close to the Mitsugi branch office, facilitating easy communication between the two. A small meeting room, restrooms, and a nursing room are planned between the entrance and the branch office, creating a zone that is easily accessible even when the building is closed. Upon entering, the community lobby is immediately visible, seamlessly connecting to the multi-purpose space. The lobby's curved exterior gently incorporates the external environment, and the atrium allows views of the second-floor activities, demonstrating the direct connection between the community lobby and numerous functions and the external environment. The exterior features a two-story hall volume as the facade, creating a symbolic presence for the town, while the roof slopes gently downwards towards the branch office, creating a sense of openness and harmonizing with the surrounding mountains. Furthermore, the landscape incorporates three plazas that can be integrated with the building's interior. Each plaza serves as an interface welcoming people from the town of Mitsugi, the Mitsugi branch office, and the parking lot, functioning as an independent, multi-functional space open to the community both during opening and closing hours.
